This Month in Terrier Football History

1960, September 9--Boston University's Nickerson Field plays home to the Boston Patriots who face the Denver Broncos in the American Football League's first regular-season game.

1994, September 17--The Terriers beat UMaine 31-18 on Black Bear turf for Boston's 15th straight regular-season win.

1995, September 16--The Black Bears of UMaine meet the Terriers at Nickerson Field.  The Terriers are ranked 18th among the nation's 1-AA teams and have won 10 straight home games against Maine, including two shutouts.  The last time UMaine beat Boston in Beantown?...1972.

1997, September 26--The Terriers open their inaugural Atlantic 10 season at William and Mary.
